Bit of a difference! I saw our bricking being finished off!
I can't wait to see the weatherboard and roof on :) a few more weeks time I guess.
Here are some pics of the bricks. Remember we are rendering after handover, so it's not going to really look much like what the final result will be.
How exciting, Joh! Really coming together now! Xx
ReplyDeleteHi Joh, I have been looking a forums & somehow followed the trail to your blog :-) My first time commenting on a blog. We have been looking at building with McDonald Jones & we are in Wollongong. You seem to have had a positive experience with them. Just wanted to ask for a bit of a guide price on what to allow from the Base price list to the real cost at the end. On the forum it seems to be $100K more or some even say 50%. Thanks Kirrily
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrea :)
ReplyDeleteKirrily, we did not go near 100k over. MJH standard inclusions are pretty good, it just depends on whats important for you to upgrade. For perspective, the display homes have $100k added to them. I'd suggest you get a tender with the major inclusions you are after and see what the price they give you. Good luck :)
Hi Joh, what colour brick did you choose? Thanks sarah
