Things are happenin'
I went for a drive to the house today. I haven't been in a few weeks. Lots has been happening.
Unfortunately my camera's battery ran out when I was there so I only got a few shots in :(
They were laying the driveway and installing cupboard shelving while I inspected their progress :)
Also the walls and doors have been painted and the tiles are done in the bathrooms and laundry!!!
It seems like it's all happening quickly now!
Here are the few shots I managed to get today…

Kitchen among other things
It's so exciting starting to see our kitchen come together! I love love love it already :)
In other news: the doors are on, waterproofing has been done, cornices are on, painting starts next week!
I have arranged for our bank to do an evaluation which should be done 3 months from completion. I haven't heard back from them yet. I'm a bit nervous :(
Some issues we have picked up on…
Our WIR doorway is 70mm too narrow, and the door was not ordered for it. They were going off a standard Nova when they did it. Thankfully the SS is already onto it and is getting it all fixed for us :) He's a really great SS!
Also the garage door doesn't have the top row of windows in it which we have paid extra for. I called the SS about it today and he's looking into that too.
Everything else is flying now. It's starting to feel more real each day :)

Gyprock never looked so good!
We had, pink, green, blue and grey walls today when we took my sis-in-law for a tour!
Very exciting. I assumed they would have started the gyprock sometime during the week but I didn't expect it to be all finished! I can't wait till the cornices and doors go on!
It's getting so exciting now!!!
I'm busting to see it all finished.

photo update!!!
Okay… I've finally been organised to put some photos up…
What has been happening?
At the start of the week I did a walk-through electrical inspection with our temporary SS (who was just lovely btw).
That went well. I slightly changed a few light and power points. He said after the ceiling is on we will do it again for some down light and pendant light placements that I want spot on :)
Today I saw that the insulation is half finished and while I was there the gyprock and cornices arrived in a truck :)
It will start looking more like a house very soon!!!
I had Dylan go around and scribble out the bad language on our frames. All ready for the walls to go up :)

No Photo update
Went to see the house today with some best friends :)
It was a nice surprise to see the electrical done, the eaves finished and the front post installed.
It was disappointing to see that one random workman (I assume) has written disrespectful comments underneath our bible verses we wrote onto our frames. All I can say is they need to learn to spell a bit better!
Next time I'm there I might just be erasing those words I don't want my kids reading again.
And I'll also get some photos of all the new things. Maybe this week we will see some weatherboard and insulation… I'm really busting to see the weatherboard up!!!

The roof is on!!
Over the last week we had our gutters, fascia and roof put on!
Yay yay yay!
I looove our roof, but it doesn't look too crash-hot at the moment contrasted against the bricks. I wish the bricks were rendered already :( But I will just have to wait a while before we have our finished facade.
